I cannot restate enough how underspecified and fragmented the fediverse ecosystem is if you try to actually do anything "cool" with it.

@i @lain @sun The two features I'm in the process of building into Pleroma are both incompatible with Mastodon, one will be a new FEP. Do you think I care that Mastodon users won't be able to take advantage of them? No, they can try to convince their emotionless CEO to support them. Not my problem.
