#Germany heads into autumn with almost empty gas storage facilities According to Gas Infrastructure #Europe, European gas storage facilities are only filled to about 57–59%. For mid-August, this is the lowest figure since the start of the comparable statistics. For Germany, the situation is particularly sensitive: After foregoing #Russian pipeline supplies, the country is much more dependent on the global LNG market and on price fluctuations.
