Starting from August 20, Switzerland will stop granting special protective S status to Ukrainians subject to military service, following a similar decision by the European Union, the government said in a statement. "Now, S status will be granted only to individuals who are fulfilling military duties that may apply to them in #Ukraine. The new rule applies to all new applications submitted from August 20," the text states.
