The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) helped Steve Jobs save his business and return to lead Apple by buying 20,000 of his computers in the 1980s, The Wall Street Journal reported, citing a book by its former journalist Sharon Weinberger.In 1985, Jobs left Apple after a conflict with management and founded a computer company, NeXT. The new computers were too expensive for most consumers, but the US National Reconnaissance Office needed them.
