I've been currently watching a new series 'Kholod' ('Cold'), which is being called the #Russian version of 'The Count of Monte Cristo,' but with a female lead. In Dumas's work, Dantes acquires his wealth thanks to a fellow prisoner who, before dying, reveals the secret of treasure hidden on an island. Here, the main character, Zhenya, acquires her wealth thanks to a cellmate with whom she was planning a prison escape—back in the early 2010s
