Qatar’s LNG exports collapse by 96%, Reuters Qatar managed to export just 18 LNG cargoes during the six months of the US-Iran war. A year earlier , exports over the same period reached 509 cargoes . Due to the blockade of the Strait of #Hormuz and the destruction of production infrastructure, shipments fell by 96% , Reuters reports. Qatar lost around $24 billion in gas-export revenues, equivalent to roughly five months of the country’s 2025 income .
