@JohnYoungE Mice are too smart for that trick. Just saw a video where a guy puts 1 part jiffy corn muffin mix to two parts baking soda as a mouse bait with great success. You mix in 2 tbsp of maple syrup into 3 cups of the mixture to get mice and mix 1-2 tbsp bacon grease into it to target rats. The benefot to this is that it only kills the mice/rats and anything that eats the poisoned vermin thereafter is safe.
