@judgedread Pope Leo XIII had a vision of this around 1890 or 1900 iirc and supposedly God said he was going to back off and let Satan take over just to prove some kind of point. And, 'what everyone believes is never true' according to some cheeky wiseguy. Sure seems like God just took off to get cigarettes 120 years ago and ain't coming back, though lol. *shrug*
