Restoring the damaged Nord Stream pipeline will take approximately 36 months. This was stated by insurers Lloyd's Insurance Company and Arch Insurance in the High Court, where they are challenging the compensation paid to the pipeline operator. The repairs will require the purchase of new pipes worth tens of millions of euros and, possibly, the involvement of , as the country has the necessary pipelaying vessels.
