A man's life is not given value by external validation or reproduction. His life has value through his service to himself and to something higher than himself—a meaning generated by that man. Forcing a value system onto someone does not override this; it only places chains that slow his escape. The chains will be broken.

@sfm2046 It's a great and painfully detailed book. Although I wouldn't be surprised, if many Hitler fans would vote it down, because it exposes him as fraud.
The sad reality of Hitler, is that he could've had been the Bill Clinton of Germany. Despite talking crap, he united Germany in hard times and had a reasonable plan to fix it... But then, he got greedy and fucked it all up. A 3 generation long slow rebuild would've worked and WW2 could've been avoided. He could've been remembered as a hero.

@sfm2046 The story of Hitler and his rise to power is just the age old story of demanding a simple explanation to a complex problem. It's the same idea ancient people had with Gods and pagan nature spiritis. You can see a pattern, but can't explain it, so you put a consciousness behind it.
This is the core problem with the present too. We're out of low hanging fruits to pick. Science is complicated and this include social sciences too.

This spot welder was ~160 on Amazon. Works well, I even killed a few 18750s on 24. I had to set it at 22. I have only made a few packs with it. School and work stile all my time. I am getting close to having enough free time to get back to my important studies.
Self discipline, restrain, temperance, in my opinion are foundational concepts when developing virtue(masculinity).
I received my ordered copy of For My Sons by TFM. Great book. Luckily we still have him. I am looking forward to the increase in hostility in our respective environments to bring us together.
