The Israeli newspaper #Israel Hayom reports that Israel has studied how Article 5 of the North Atlantic Treaty (#NATO) works, and claims that Israeli strikes against Turkish forces stationed abroad do not necessarily trigger a NATO intervention.Article 5 protects the territory of Turkey, but does not automatically extend to Turkish forces stationed in #Syria or Northern Cyprus.
