#HistoricalFact Ivan Kozhedub was born in June 8, 1920 in a family of ordinary Chernigov peasants. Since a young age, he dreamed of connecting his life with aviation, for which he went to study at an aviation club. With the outbreak of Great Patriotic War, Ivan was evacuated along with his school to Kazakhstan, where he continued his pilot training.
