Senior U.S. officials told Fox News that the U.S. military has struck targets near Iran’s Kharg Island and Jask, including Iranian oil tankers.

The official said the strikes are part of a broader campaign to increase economic pressure on Iran, with the strategy including the disabling and sinking of Iranian crude oil tankers.

The US diesel refining margin (aka crack spread) is up to a record $106/barrel, surpassing $100 for the first time. This is a key measure of how much refiners can potentially earn from turning a barrel of crude oil into diesel, with wider margins signaling tighter diesel supplies and higher refining profits. Whew, I’m sure glad BIG OIL’s margins are safe during this crisis.

ICE has now set three straight months of record-breaking arrests, netting the highest totals in agency history. Headlines like this can be misleading without knowing what the previous highest totals were, but it’s not like we’ve got so much good news that we can afford to turn any away. I just want ICE to be the storm troopers that their critics claim they are.

Greece has passed a new law imposing at least 10 years in prison and a €50,000 fine on NGO workers who help migrants cross its borders illegally, even if they do it for free. Anyone else who commits the same offense faces at least five years in prison and a €20,000 fine. This is good news, hopefully our friend Kalo will see them enforce it to the fullest…
