If I had my way, I would change Uma Musume's lore so that human women were entirely replaced with uma musume, instead of this weird 30-70 split that can only happen with freak population biology. There is no point having a superior version of women exist in-universe as well as completely removing a creature that for most of human history was necessary for human development, all while trying to pretend society developed almost the exact same as this universe. You can keep it an urban fantasy with all the modern aesthetics, but don't pretend it's just normal life with a few women with horse ears and tails.
What was CyGames thinking on that? "Well, gee, we want woman to feel they can be trainers too." Dude, you have uma trainers, and women love animal ears and pretending to be kemonomimi girls. There are no negatives for making the better narrative decision outside of writers needing more time to flesh out a proper alt-history and alternative society.
