My take on the CSA is that the soldiers and folks on the ground were good people but the politicians were ass and its financial sector was just as rotten as the norths. As i said before, indentured servitude and slavery aren't any better than each other. The north wanted Whites from Europe and even its own folk to die in factories for slave wages, and the plantation class didn't even think of the consequences of keeping a hunter and gatherer race on its soil because they were too lazy to pick at some plants. Neither were ideal.
