The results of the Iran war thus far are as follows:

- Americans are materially worse off
- The economy is worse off
- America is strategically weaker
- America’s image on the world stage is diminished
- Iran controls the Strait

Why were we willing to undertake such a disastrous war with no tangible benefits to America?
