theoretically, if you paid prisoners outrageous wages ($1000/hr) but also made their mandatory expenses higher than that ($25000 nightly cell rental fee) and sold the excess debt as derivatives to banks, then used the money from the sold debt to finance higher wages, you could create an economic feedback loop that achieved infinite GDP

heck you could do this by arresting one guy and putting him into infinite debt

why has nobody done this? it would instantly solve all economic problems forever via infinite gdp
