Any Audio / Video experts on here? I'm trying to hook a old Atari 2600 to a projector. The Atari has a coax out and the projector has a RCA in (composite yellow/red/white). From what I can find online people use a VCR to bridge the gap.

VCR's are going for close to 100 bucks (not sure why) which seems excessive. Does anyone know what module is in the VCR that makes this work and if that module can be bought by its self?

I tried this but didn't work. a.co/d/6w3kKDj

@Chimi_Chuang_Tzu Probably can get an RF modulator. You had to buy them DVD players first came out if you had an old tube TV. You can find them cheap at thrift stores or VCRs for that matter.
@Chimi_Chuang_Tzu Since later television designs include composite, S-Video, and component video jacks, which skip the modulation and demodulation steps, modulators are no longer included as standard equipment, and RF modulators are now largely a third-party product, purchased primarily to run newer equipment such as DVD players with an old television set.

I didn't realize the unit I already tried is a RF modulator. Any idea what that didn't work?

See link below for product info.
