A resident of Poltava broke a police officer's nose during an ID check The police officers noticed a man near the entrance to a building and asked him to show his military service documents. The man tried to flee inside. As soon as the police officer opened the door, the man struck him, breaking his nose and causing a concussion. In court, the police officer stated that he was not pressing charges, so the assailant was sentenced to one year in prison, with the sentence suspended.
