(1/4) Religious shower thoughts today. Bear with me. Not a sermon, I promise. In Genesis, God sets humans apart from other creatures in that mankind is given a role in the creation process. Man gets to name other creatures, and is given dominion over the earth and the plants and animals in it. Humans alone are told to subdue the earth. Later in Genesis, God says it is not good for the man to be alone, and makes a suitable helper for him: a woman.
