This is yet more vandalism of the characters to suit the globohomo agenda.

Bashir spent all of Deep Space Nine pining after Jadzia Dax, then was successful hooking up with the next Dax, Ezri. By all accounts, they could have gotten married with how the show left things off.

Garak was an enigmatic character, by design. So much of his past was revealed in bits and pieces as the show progressed. But there was zero indication he was gay. Gul Dulat's daughter, Tora Ziyal, loved him. He did not requite it, but indulged her in walks. There is no indication Garak did this because he was gay. It was more of a "kid, you don't want any part of my screwed up past" vibe.

Making these two characters gay is just fucking disgusting, and I hope everyone who did it got their Covid shots.

It's entirely possible for two dudes to hang out and enjoy each other's company without wanting to ram their dicks up each other's asses. Hate to break it to these fuckheads.
