I find myself smiling inside when I am out and about and see marriage-age or post-marriage-age women with no wedding ring. Failed to get that commitment, huh? Good! Marriage is an institution that needs to die.

@Der_verruckte_Doktor the problem isn’t the institution of marriage per se, the problem is how we do marriage now in the current era. Second wave feminism from the mid 60s up until the mid 70s is when you started seeing skyrocketing divorce rates, and declining marriage rates. The problem is the government and the biased legal system against men, the institution in itself works and is conducive for an advancing society. We don’t necessarily need to throw out the baby with the bathwater.

@I_AmTheKnight Oh sure, marriage hasn't always been broken. For most of recorded history it made sense. Virtually every civilization came to that same conclusion. But as constituted in the 21st century, no way. It is predatory and exploitative of men.
