@marlathetourist iran is about to sign a security deal with russia that has been in the works for years. there is no way anyone will attack iran after that. not to mention, china is near by and won't allow anything threatening their belt and road project with southern path going through iran into turkey and eu. plus conflict in region would kill the whole european industry production, which is already collapsing as it is. no need for 100$ oil.
