it's quite interesting to realize that you might "get" something intellectually. but until you "get" it emotionally, it has no real impact on your decisions.
@Justicar TFM did say that it’s your emotions that are in the driver seat and not your reason and logic it’s in the passenger seat holding the map and compass.

@TenaciousGoat in the book "Never Split the Difference" by Chriss Voss, he says that people whom had lobotomy or similar head trauma, where part of their brain that handles emotions got damaged, are INCAPABLE of making a decision. No matter how insignificant. Meaning, we pride ourselves as being logical creatures, yet all our decisions are made emotionally.
