after finishing the expanse, i cannot stop thinking about when Alex died, how it completely destroyed the mood/atmosphere on roci. it was just not the same. bobby was a good addition, to amos especially, i wish she would join the crew permanently. peaches was..strange, but workable. still, without alex, it just became empty/sad/melancholic. and the end scene where roci just flies into space, ..dunno, it felt anything but hopeful.
@Justicar He never dies in the novel. They removed him from the show due to sudden sexual harassment charges against the actor on reddit.
Once again, nothing is shitty enough that women can't make worse.
@Zeb i had no idea. wiki: "n June 2020, Alcon Entertainment hired an independent firm to investigate over 30 allegations of sexual harassment and assault made against Anvar" 30 seems quite a lot. probably he's just too friendly of a guy, for this "modern" era, otherwise it would make little sense.
best i could describe my feeling is that i would totally join the original roci crew but not after alex was gone. it just was not the same, which is very strange how removing one cog from the machine can completely change the dynamic into something almost unrecognizable.
