apparently ukraine was able to bomb those strategic bombers because they had to be out in the open due to some international agreements where these types of aircrafts must not be hidden from satellite imaging so other countries could react in case of ongoing attack. it is silly buy that's what it is.

@Zeb i just read that the agreement is called START1 and took effect 5.12.94, so 30y ago. and ukraine shat all over it.
