was thinking of going for a 9.5km walk/run. asked grok how much calories i would bur. looks like 750 by walking and 990 by running. not much. no wonder people are so fat nowadays, the food is too dense in calories and we spend most of our lives sitting down. the only way to keep the weight down is to do manual labour - every single day.
