even charlie talks about how marriage kinda kills what you had with the girl. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xp__pk76afE
best i could describe my feeling is that i would totally join the original roci crew but not after alex was gone. it just was not the same, which is very strange how removing one cog from the machine can completely change the dynamic into something almost unrecognizable.
after finishing the expanse, i cannot stop thinking about when Alex died, how it completely destroyed the mood/atmosphere on roci. it was just not the same. bobby was a good addition, to amos especially, i wish she would join the crew permanently. peaches was..strange, but workable. still, without alex, it just became empty/sad/melancholic. and the end scene where roci just flies into space, ..dunno, it felt anything but hopeful.
i had not idea about the lazy mexican stereotype when growing up. looks like back in the day, the tv didn't give a fuck :D
i am rewatching The Expanse. I loved the first three Syfy seasons and disliked the Amazon ones. Now, I have the same impression. It's woke as fuck but am not sure if story-wise it is Amazon's fault or the books', because after the gates opened, the show kinda lost all semblance of adventure and action, that it had all throughout the first three seasons and which defined it. Still probably the best sci-fi series ever made.
toyota over rolls, genesys over bentley, lexus over mercedes.. the overpriced obsolete has-been brands are done, they just don't know it yet.

blackrock: "I am the government"
Because you still have hope that this war will end with your honor intact. Stand in the ashes of a trillion dead souls, and ask the ghosts if honor matters. The silence is your answer.
