A goal of mine in life is to one day have enough children to where using commercial air travel for anything other than a business trip is so prohibitively expensive and logistically infuriating that the thought doesn't even cross my mind
@Shadowman311 there's a family at our chuch that basically comes in a bus, 11 kids (and, judging by the way the mother was holding onto herself at church this morning, a 12th is in progress)
@grey My parents laughed when I said I wanted 10 kids, said I was brainwashed, said you can't afford that "no women would want that", I'll show them.

My family has had only one namesake per generation for 2 generations, I'm turning this little twig of a family tree into a redwood singlehandedly.
@Shadowman311 @grey how do you find a woman that wants those 1) have that many kids and 2)someone you're compatible with? I never found those traits in one woman in my life.
@CN32 @grey I'm a Catholic it's easier for me, though I admit I haven't found her yet. I'm also not entirely sold on "10" or any particular number, I just want a lot and most Catholic women want that as well, though numbers vary
@Shadowman311 @grey I'm too old now (I'm middle aged) as the women I wasted time with as a young man just wanted to mess around and/or weren't sure what they wanted and/or wanted jerks/wild guys over a stable man (like me).
@Shadowman311 @grey I guess it is what it is. After a certain age, if you haven't found 'the one', then it probably isn't going to happen.
@Momther @Shadowman311 @grey One of my friends told me years ago "People date for the wrong reasons." I didn't understand what he meant at the time, but now I do.
@CN32 @Momther @grey If you aren't dating explicitly to marry and reproduce, you shouldn't be dating
