I'm also not an extrovert by any sort of measurement but i remember when i talked with people at the hotel gig i did a few years back and they always told me that i was a great guy.
You're probably not as bad as you think and maybe you need to get out of your confort zone to get things rolling a bit. Having someone close helps a lot in that regard since a little push from soemone else goes a long way

@Morghur @inertia My most used piece of gear is my folding bike. Gas is expensive, so I bike pretty much anywhere less than 10 miles away unless I'm buying a bunch of groceries or something or moving for the night.
I like talking to random people because you're probably never going to see them again, so if you're goofy, who cares?
