@Bad_Banner There is a lot of that, but you gotta know what to look for. Cemetery expansions and local obituaries are a decent metric of actual losses. My default position is it's all bullshit until I find info that suggests otherwise.

I've been saying the whole time that nothing is actually happening over there, it's just propaganda. Kind of like how that Vice documentary with the Taliban was; they sat in a field freezing for hours waiting for a convoy, but their detonator glitched and blew up late. They reported to their commander they had casualties because they just wanted to get back home. Meanwhile the US reported they had killed Taliban during an ambush, because they also just wanted to get back to their base.
