People roundly agree that gerrymandering is a deplorable gambit to unduly affect elections.

This is perfectly alright.
Filipinos are also industrious and respectful. I have far fewer problems with them coming here over many other racial/cultural groups. It helps the Yanks broke them in for us.

In the 80s on the west coast of Canada we had all sorts of these rickety junks floating onto our shores full of half dead Vietnamese.
I kid you not, they were admitted as refugees and those folks kept their heads down. Didn't make waves. Didn't beg from our governments. Started businesses are became self-sufficient. They certainly didn't call us racists and demand more gibs.
