"Women are allergic to accountability" and "women should be good wives" are contradictory statements. Your wife is going to have to be accountable if she's going to be good. Women have to be granted the assumption of agency, otherwise they can't be held to account, and therefore can't be good people, unless they "feel like it." That kind of person can't really be a good wife.
