I think mining companies that don't actually put the heat produced by the miners to work will eventually fail.
The heat is valuable (we all pay to heat buildings) but miners just waste it.
Furnace and bitcoin mining will be synonymous.

Waste heat from bitcoin mining can only be 100% efficient at heating a space, and will never catch up to a heat pump.
