C isn't going anywhere so if you care about "low level" programming your efforts would be best spent learning how to use C effectively rather than dabbling in a series of languages that will have poor adoption and support forever

For the other techbros lurking, has anyone else noticed more and more headhunter emails coming from pajeet lately? Seems to be more and more rare I get job inquiries by anyone not pajeet.
@rms 'Price gouging prevention' is newspeak for price controls. Price controls are terrible economic policy and lead to shortages wherever they are applied.
