@Justicar Luckily, no. Was going to move some old files from Windows to Arch, but saw the windows partition as bitlocker even though I disabled that years ago. Some update turned it back on and now I've got to wait for however long it takes shitty Windows to decrypt 2TB of shit.

FDE for desktops is almost unjustifiable for the normie user. Laptops make slightly more sense, but you're realistically more likely to have a hardware failure that loses all your data than going to have identity theft thwarted by FDE if someone steals your laptop.

Also, fuck secure boot.

Here's a compromise on the size of government: no DOGE, but every fed is required to get quarterly covid boosters. We're all in this together, after all.
