As part of the program to equip US Navy carrier aviation with advanced hypersonic strike systems, Castelion has signed a contract for the delivery of 50 pre-production Blackbeard aeroballistic missiles, with a total value of $23.4 million. This agreement, signed on June 16, 2026, moves the product from the R&D stage into the category of combat-ready samples intended for field trials, certification on F/A-18E/F Super Hornet carriers and subsequent operational evaluation.
