There was very good evidence of them sponsering terrorism.
And as of yet no reason NOT to believe that they were pursuing nukes, and they haven't denied it.
15 years ago, I had extensive contact, through work, with a guy who lived in Iran.
He was a different person, when on the phone from Iran vs. in person in UAE.

I do remember the Iran Contra scandal of the 70's and a prisoner exchange in 2023, but there is a lot about those deals to rehash. They are not reasons to go to war.
When some say death to America, they are generally referring to ZOG which I appreciate.
Iran has supported Hezbollah and Syria who had conflicts with Israel, not the US. ZOG labels them terrorists because they oppose Israel.
Israel has been saying Iran is close to producing a nuclear bomb for over 30 years. Remember Trump pulled out of the nuclear deal with Iran. I wish Iran did have a nuclear bomb to deter Israel who has over 200 nukes.
I see no real threat by Iran to the US unless you are talking about ZOG interests such as Israel.
