The oligarchs are pouring money into AI and automation not to replace workers but to compensate for falling birth rates. They know civilization will collapse and with it their power if they do nothing so they're funding AI and automation R&D.
@DwarvenAllFather I don’t think so their funding AI for their own benefit. The top tech companies are having a circle jerk passing money around. They’re doing this to buy themselves time, the immigration is just to maintain power in the voting and give the illusion of a two party system.
War profiteering and money laundering is all our government does. They don’t care about a declining population as long as they can print money into existence and the general public doesn’t kill them. Who cares

@TenaciousGoat I said they are funding to preserve their power, which depends on civilization not collapsing. If civilization collapses all their stocks are worthless and the hungry masses will be coming for them so AI and automation will be used to prevent that.
