A new day. A new chance to succeed.

A short night has me blinking and yawning. Trying to throw off the inner blankets still wrapped around my head.

But my morning routine helps me through these clumsy first steps. The coffee is almost brewed. The day's potential barely tapped.

I'm looking forward to my walk later. I might bake bread this afternoon. I have a fun book to read and time to read it.

But for now, I'll just savor the moment.
