Yes very odd behavior.
I am thinking that homosexual men pretending to be straight, perhaps they think that this is how real men speak.

Perhaps they think that, step 1 get a good looking wife, step 2 brag about how good looking she is, there nailed it, I am straight now.

But straight men don't go around telling other men, look at my wife, look at how sexy and good looking she is.

At least I never did. If she is really that good looking, I don't need to point it out.

Men who brag about how good looking their wives, girlfriends are.

For some reason I have come to think about these men as some kind of closet homosexuals, possibly bi-homosexuals.

It is one thing to really like Ur wife. If Ur in love U will love her looks and if she is in fact, objectively great looking U will love that too.

But why would U tell other men around U how good looking Ur wife is, when they can see her with their own eyes. Bragging not so the wife hears it in this way seem gay.
