Do you support Border Czar Tom Homan making an example out of AOC for helping illegal aliens avoid ICE?

For some reason I am reminded of the time a bird was causing problems for me. Would dive bomb me whenever I'd leave my house. Eventually crows, who had been watching this interaction, intervened and chased the nigger bird off.

I left out treats for them after.
Did you know the IRS is one of the largest providers of Welfare in the USA?

The IRS relies on US Residents (not just citizens) self-certifying their qualification for these IRS Welfare programs that are effectively a "negative income tax".

From 2011-2019, there were ~30M IRS Welfare recipients each year. There were over 41M in 2020.

In my tax practice over the last 42 years I have watched as the IRS code has been weaponized into a wealth transfer system that is designed to destroy the traditional family unit.

Apparently, Perón funded a Nazi scientist named Ronald Richter to develop nuclear energy in Argentina starting in 1948; but Richter scammed him and didn’t actually achieve true nuclear fusion. The project was ended by 1952.

This man would be accused of, and known for, fraud to the end of his days in 1991.

However, from the investigation into his work by physicist J. Balseiro it was concluded that a formal institute to investigate nuclear physics was needed, so it was founded in 1955 and from it, the first nuclear power plant was eventually developed.

So, in a roundabout way, Nazis were responsible for Argentina getting nuclear power. :pepe_newspaper:

Donald Trump has taken aim at the administrative state in his first term, but does government bureaucracy have to be a bad thing? Complex societies require complex organizations to manage their functions. Can right-wingers make the administrative state work for them or is there something inherently dangerous about its existence? Pascal-Emmanuel Gobry, host of the "PolicySphere" podcast, joins me to discuss.

A new day. A new chance to succeed.

A long weekend in my mind cave, retreating from the world except for a few brief outings each morning to see if it's still here.

It is.

For the moment I have some peace and quiet. The coffee brews in the kitchen as I contemplate breakfast and the day ahead.

Honestly, the cave feels very appealing but I will need to engage the day more directly.

At least in part.

But I'm staying close to home.

I hope your home is a haven #today
