March is a month away, so I would like to PSA fedi that the only thing that makes a weed is where it's growing. And that your lawn is an ecosystem, not a carpet. You need plants that both consume nitrogen in the soil and put nitrogen back into it in a balancing act so that everything is green and healthy.

Work with wild plants, not against!
In light of the recent "mass deportation" stuff going around in the news and the talk of illegals losing their jobs, I'd like to talk about how I think this could potentially shake out for the average American. I'm no economic expert here, so if I say something wrong, please correct me.
Illegal immigrant labor has kept wages down in many critical grunt work jobs. So low that your average american can't work them because they wouldn't be able to afford the cost of living with taxes and whatnot. Picking crops, warehouse work, logistics, etc. So when the illegals are no longer available, what happens? Those companies and businesses either go under because they refuse to hire people at a high enough wage to get people to apply OR they raise their wages. If they raise their wages, they're going to raise the price of their goods. If they raise the price of their goods, then wages ALL OVER america, not just in those jobs, will have to increase to compensate for increased cost of living, which will continue the cycle. Inflation is so much worse than anyone realizes because prices and wages have been kept down with illegal immigration. We could see wages and prices continually increasing in competition with each other until we reach equilibrium for our current inflation level, and at that point the average american could be making mid-six figures and milk could cost $30 a gallon. Nobody really knows how bad things really are. If the Trump administration pulls this off (they don't have to deport everyone or regulate away illegal labor, just enough to make people irrationally afraid), we'll finally see just how bad inflation REALLY is behind the curtain.
#dreamjournal Had a very very very long dream last night that started with me walking around town trying to visit various night clubs. I don't even remember what I was doing in them. At some point later I was traveling on foot to the next nightclub and I stopped at a gas station for a pack of oreos. I then became obsessed with oreos going around to different gas stations attempting to get all the oreos I could. At some point this lead to a fight between me and a 7/11 cashier, in which I swore I would never return to 7/11 again.

Flustered, I returned home to find that my mom had bought a dog while I was gone; a husky. Odd things started happening around the house and people's behavior started changing. At some point I went out in the back yard and started digging in two feet of snow and finding bizarre artifacts, and then a note from one of my neighbors warning me about the dog.

I went back inside and I attempted to lead the dog down into the basement. This was the strangest part because it felt so incredibly real. Upon going down the stairs I was greeted by an entirely new floor and finished interior (it was unfinished concrete previously). For some reason this did not strike me as odd and I assumed they must have finished it while I was out clubbing. I went back upstairs to take the dog down and when I returned a few seconds later the basement was back in its unfinished state.

I locked the dog downstairs and returned to my parents, warning them in whispers that I thought the dog was possessed by a demon. Upon hearing this my dad started sobbing uncontrollably. I don't remember anything beyond this, but I'm sure nothing good happened.
