I honestly wish I lived in a place that encouraged alternative transport like e-bikes and scooters instead of actively trying to hinder it at every opportunity. Even money for regular cycling and walking infrastructure is getting pulled because it's a "Threat to cars".
Our governments, local and federal are so wrong headed about this.
It's 100% a good thing if more people want to use alternative transport like scooters, e-bikes, regular bikes or even just walking. All of these are better alternatives to driving everywhere and should be treated as viable options, not nuisances.
Even more gas scooter and motorcycle use would be better than just cars, or as we're seeing more and more in the US, Just massively oversized and overweight 4 door pickups. Modern oversized trucks and SUV's are the menace that needs reeled in here. They're the majority of vehicles on the road actually doing harm.
High thought
If High School never ends, then people are essentially actors performing their learned actions and routines. (An NPC) Life is but a grand stage to express ourselves on. Who’s the audience though? Is it also us? How long can we stay in character before realizing we have free will? Or is it the act of believing one has free will which gives one ability to do so?
Thoughts
Congress taking the AIPAC money is the same experiment of the kid eating the marshmallow early when the adults leave the room. Short term gratification instead of long term. Because the money did get the congress women as young as they wanted boys too if they’re into that. We’re talking one million plus the most exclusive club in town. Like being in with the popular kids in High School, the most popular clique the Jews.
