@TenaciousWolf That's where the Bible is often misunderstood. Jesus didn't tell His disciples to just roll over and get taken advantage of. What He was saying here is to use love to disarm and confuse those who are against them. Often generosity and love are a far more potent weapon to settling disputes than noisy demands and threats.
We live in a world that delights in "us vs. them." Whether it’s politics, culture, or even religion, we are told that complex issues are black and white and that hating our "enemies" is a survival tactic.
