Police in Independence, Missouri, summarily executed a 2-month-old White girl and her young mother in what appears to be a botched domestic violence call.

The incident is being described as a "state-sanctioned murder" of a working-class family, which left 2-month-old Destiny Hope, and her mother, Maria Pike, dead on the floor of their living room.
