The only people who think the machines will take over are either normies, grifters or those all sperg and none of the savantism. Nobody who has ever worked with a computer in more than the most superficial sense would ever believe this stupid error prone things could take over a fucking back-road Dairy Queen much less all human endeavor. Human brains are also error prone but by evolution and perhaps the mercy of the divine, they have exquisite "diagnostics and repair" faculties, redundancies, and a plasticity which enables it to overcome. All for the small small price of a few thousand calories a day. Go out in the morning and you can literally pick that off the land for a sizeable number of people before you even need to start R&D and invent agriculture. Berries. Nuts. Roots. Wild animals trying to flee.
Even groids unfortunately come under that umbrella. A worrying proof that maybe God DOES make mistakes... Anyway. Once a computer is spitting out errors, or a piece of hardware is trooning out/going an hero, that's that until a flesh computer and its organic bioframe comes along and saves everybody's day. Again. As usual.

@WTFPurpleAlpaca I started using GPT4All yesterday in the scope of satisfying curiosities and even help me start up stuff with throwaway codes I can then work with and modify.
This AI is not gonna replace any jobs, but it can enhance you as a working agent. Nothing more than a tool at your disposal.
