What if Microsoft brought back Windows 7 as Windows 12 and modernized it? I am working on experiments that Microsoft SHOULD be doing with Windows 12. Depending on the demand of customers Microsoft will have no CHOICE but to remaster Windows 7 this was when Windows was at its peak right after HighSchool. Some of you might have questions like why am I running Windows 7 in 2024 what am I trying to prove?
Windows 7 was an iconic desktop launched back in 2009 making it a legendary Windows Operating System. I am probably importing all possible data into modern Windows if Microsoft doesn't WANT to bring back its iconic desktop and modernize it the mod will contain the older Windows cursor which is a lot better than the stale mate mouse cursor. All Windows 7 wallpaper will be imported into modern Windows this is more of a project to save the Aesthetics and Legendary Windows desktop that once made Microsoft a blazing company. Retro gaming is a good excuse to use Windows 7 in 2024 just make sure to find a security software and do some deep cleaning at your own risk.

@technoarchangel Not sure I get it: Is your project "modernizing" W7 or are you working on W11 to make it operate more like W7 ?
If you're still using W7, then you're keeping best practices to avoid being at risk, if I got it right.
Basically yes I have an emachine with Windows 7 it's only a what if question basically lol.
I wanna find the texture for the Windows 7 taskbar for Classic Shell I can't find it anywhere closest to aero effects is the Acrylic effect software I found. I do like getting on Windows 7 looking around for what I can do on it it's basically a retro computer and you can't do a whole lot with it anyway it has a security software and I might put RetroArch on it and maybe use it as a console.
