Responding to import taxes against Chinese NEV, China put a tax on combustion engine SUVs. Difference: EU sanctions are discriminatory (only one country targeted), anti-WTO rules, and against EU goals of decarbonizing. Chinese tax is WTO conform, and in line with the environmental goals of switching to electric cars (clean air), and non-discriminatory, as all companies including Chinese are targeted. But Chinese don't produce large luxury combustion SUVs, so in effect it does hurt German luxury brands the most.
@Justicar Open source projects are now subjugated to the US sanctions against Russia. Linus has blind spots but at the end of the day, he's just in charge of the mainline kernel. There are already several forks of it.
Linux has come a long way. Even with Valve making a partnership with the Arch Linux maintainers, it will keep being better while Windows turns further into malware.

@charliebrownau @Justicar Comment sections no longer load on Freetube when using the localAPI, but yeah I'd recommend Freetube to watch Youtube videos while sorting your subscriptions more easily.
@Justicar Good on you. I've erased my Youtube history and disabled it so as to not get recommended videos to mindlessly procrastinate to.
I still procrastinate but at least I'm not jumping in rabbit holes of content to watch.

It did take a while for him to get there. Now hopefully if he ever get into an argument of ethics, he'll check if they're on the same wavelength.
