The term "woke" has been around since the 60s, but it got picked up for its current ubiquitous use between 2014 and 2015. So, my napkin math was only a little bit off.
I remember seeing SJW back in 2009 on I think it was Hugelol (remember that shit?) It's a term that's "relatively" new, but the people they refer to existed back in the late 60s, who themselves were a regurgitation of who put the Soviets in power.
Funny this .. I tried to be a civnat, get along with everyone, but also hate niggers and jews for the shit they do. Weird how that worked. When I finally argued with real NatSocs, who had real understanding of the ideology and not just posting Hitler memes at me, I began to realize I was NatSoc all along.
@Dagnar@DailyStormerDigest@wishgranter14Yeah it's funny how many of us had the exact right instincts already down - because we wanted TRUTH. And when we found national socialism, all we did was finally find the ideology that fit what we already wanted.
I think for me, I just had to get over the propaganda in order to fully understand it. I'm not a fan of forced adherence to one type of lifestyle. I've seen the downsides of it and rejected it because of that. Realizing that NS doesn't actually promote that but does curb some of the more bizarre lifestyles made things a lot easier to grasp.
